Colo for 
Entry for her Gaia contest. Not sure what fate awaits the little fish
Anyway I love the chara design, he has a really unique look 
not to mention I've always been fascinated by abyssal creatures.
Experimental piece - Tried some new 'colo'ring techniques X3 Actually I did the lineart some time ago, but the colours were blah so I left it until I could figure something out. Yesterday it dawned on me I should work from dark colors to light ones instead of doing medium colours>shading>highlights.
I don't know for other types of skins but here well there's no question about it, it made my life a lot easier. And I experimented a bunch of other things too, light effects and whatnot. ^^
